This conference is co-sponsored by Northeastern University Martha's Vineyard Summer Institute on Experiential Education (MVSI), the World Association for Cooperative Education (WACE) and NEFDC and will be held on May 30, 2008 at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

THE NEFDC Spring Conference will focus on the world of EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING - the engagement of students through pedagogy that extends beyond the classroom, or incorporates the foundation of hands-on real-world experiences into the work of class. We will explore aspects of teaching, learning and assessment that look at long-term experiential projects, individualized internships, study-abroad, and classroom pedagogy with a hands-on foundation designed to engage student learners.  We look forward to seeing you there.
