Exchange Guidelines

Guidelines for Submissions to The Exchange

The Exchange seeks original and timely articles that will capture the interest of faculty and
administrators from a range of institutional types. Articles that demonstrate an understanding of
current literature, use jargon‐free language, and provide lessons or insights that readers can use to
improve practice are preferred. We also welcome reviews of books, films, videos, and software related
to teaching, learning, and assessment. The Exchange is published twice yearly, in summer and fall.
Submissions should be between 500 and 2500 words and not previously published. Longer submissions
may be considered as space permits. After a blind review, authors will be notified of acceptance,
acceptance with changes, or rejection.
